Michael Keaton is an American actor and producer best known for his performance in the film 'Birdman. A versatile actor, he is able to perform both dramatic and comedic roles. He has also portrayed a few romantic characters and played in numerous action films in his career. His passion for the acting profession began when he was at the age of teen. He tried stand up comedy when he was in his early 20s. This was not a very successful stand-up career, however it did pave the way for an acting career. Not able to achieve success as a comedian he took up a job as cameraman on television at a cable channel. When he was working in the station when he realized it was his dream to be present in front of cameras. After a couple of episodes on Mister Rogers Neighborhood, he got the role on TV. He was naturally gifted and was a huge hit in the world of television. He embarked on an acting career in film with huge ambitions and found considerable fame for his comedic performances. The actor became more famous for his role as Batman as the main character in Tim Burton's Batman. In time he grew up as an actress and began working in productions and directed films. His performance in 2014 as Birdman earned him numerous accolades and nods.
