Born to Brian O'Sullivan and his wife, she is the mother of one sibling named Sinead. She was only the second ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. The surname of Bea is in honor of her late father. Aisling O'Sullivan, also referred to as Cliodhnadh Aisling, was born at Kildare town in County Kildare. Bea's father Brian took his life at the age of three. He was a horse vet. Bea wasn't told the specifics of his passing away until she turned 13. To honor her father, she chose the stage-name Bea and, in the year 2017, she wrote an article on suicides that affected the family she was raised by for The Guardian. Bea's mom Helen was also an instructor for jockeys and a former professional jockey was responsible for taking care of her and Sinead. Her parents were obsessed by horses and racing. Bea started her journey as a tour-guide for the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the racing industry wasn't the right fit for her.
